Motorized infantry brigade in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is located in the city of Mariupol in the Donetsk region. In November 2022, the brigade took part in the fighting on the Kherson direction and the liberation of the right bank of the Kherson region. On May 5, 2023, by decree of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the 56th separate Mariupol motorized infantry brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was awarded the honorary decoration "For courage and valor." The brigade was formed in early 2015.
