Silver-plated brass; 26 x 20.5 cm.
Russia, 19th/20th century.
Rectangular base, on 4 legs, with two inkwells (without glass inserts), closed with rectangular hinged lids (one flap with damaged hinge); on top, the lids decorated with images of peacocks and twigs of vine. Around the inkwells, relief decoration with a motif of a grape vine; between them - in the middle - a stylized image of the state emblem of Russia - a two-headed eagle under a crown. Below a rectangular recess - a gutter for writing instruments.
On the bottom the inscription in Cyrillic: "AGOR RAFE" and the number: "2387" and the company's designation in a triangle.
