Biography
In 1933 she began studying mathematics at the University of Warsaw, but after a year of study she transferred to the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw to Edward Kokoszka and then to Mieczyslaw Kotarbinski. After the war, she studied under Felicjan Szczęsny Kowarski. After receiving her diploma, she began working with the "Ład" cooperative, for which she designed textiles. The fabrics she designed can be found in the halls of the Palace of Culture and Science, the Grand Hotel and the National Philharmonic, among others. In 1950-1954, she served as artistic director of "Ład". She was also engaged in pedagogical work. The artist's works can be found in the collections of the Textile Museum in Lodz, the National Museum in Warsaw, the Museum of the Polish Army in Warsaw, the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow, the Museum of Sport and Tourism in Warsaw, the Museum of Sport in Prague, among others.
