Biography
Polish painter and printmaker, he was a lover of the Tatra mountains which he immortalized in landscapes and photographs. However, he became famous as an outstanding textile artist, and in 1910 founded the "Kilim" artistic weaving cooperative. The artist was also one of the first Zakopane skiers and a member of the board of directors of the Zakopane Skiing Division of the Tatra Society.
