Hand weaving, linen yarn, organic cotton, acrylic-based fabric paint, 60 x 80 cm, described on the back
Graduate of Painting at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław (2013) and Art History at the University of Wrocław (2011). She has been working with fabric since 2012. In 2014/2015, as part of the cross-border Erasmus program for young entrepreneurs, she completed an internship at the Helena Loermans Weaving Atelier in Odemira, Portugal. Hand weaving is a key stage in the artist's work, which allowed her to explore the issue of the structure of the canvas as a painting substrate. Creating spatial objects on the loom is a transposition of the artwork from the zone of pure viewing into the area of direct human contact. In 2017, she founded Interweave Studio - Research Atelier in Wroclaw, where art, craft and humanities are intertwined. Creatively associated with Wroclaw, Suprasl (Podlaskie Voivodeship) and Odemira. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture, National Heritage and Sports in 2019.
