Exceptional class and beauty artistic kilim maintained in Art Nouveau style with floral motif of one of the most outstanding and important artistic kilim designers of the first half of the 20th century in Poland, Kazimierz Brzozowski (1871-1945).
The kilim was created in an excellent factory at the "Kilim" Association in Zakopane, for which the most prominent artists associated with Zakopane at the time designed.
It was created around 1910.
Dimensions: 198 x 144 cm.
Wool, natural dyes.
Signed in the upper right corner with the artist's monogram: "KB".
Very good condition!
The colors are vivid, not dyed, the kilim is clean, without odor, without holes or repairs.
The tassels are missing, at the edge where the tassels were it has minor thread repairs visible in the photos.
