Biography
Austrian architect, co-founder of the so-called Viennese school of architecture. Frank was a co-founder of the Wiener Werkbund, and in 1932 he was the project manager of the Wiener Werkbund housing estate. In 1934 he emigrated to Sweden, where, in addition to his architectural activities, he took up designing furniture and other interior furnishings and finishes, such as fabric patterns, wallpaper and carpets, working for Svenskt Tenn.
