The flag of the Republic of Poland coming from the Polish Embassy in Beirut.

The flag was the property of Polish diplomat Witold Ryszard Korsak (1897- 2003), who after the outbreak of World War II, among others, served as Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Jerusalem (1.XII. 1940 - 1.III. 1943), in Beirut (1.III. - 1. XI. 1943), chargé d'affaires based in Cairo of the Polish embassy in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) (1. IX. 1943 - 1. XI. 1944), consul general in Istanbul (1. XI. 1944 - 31. VIII. 1945). He represented the Polish government-in-exile in the Middle East until 1957, and arrived in the United States in 1957.
Traces of non. creasing, staining and yellowing. Good condition.
