LOPIEŃSKICH BROTHERS' COMPANY, Candlestick with dolphins

bronze, chiseled cast, polished and patinated; height ca. 20.5 cm; base ca. 10 x 11 cm.
Poland, Warsaw, 1st quarter of the 20th century.
Base on three animal legs, triangular, with chamfered corners and concave sides. The trunk in the form of three dolphin figures entwined by their tails; above, a spherical nodus decorated with a meander stripe. Candle sleeve with a motif of lanceolate leaves, on a plate with laurel branches. On one corner of the base a beaten signature: "BR. ŁOPIENSCY / WARSAW".
