Biography
Studied at an art college in Vilnius. In the 1960s he stayed in Warsaw, where at that time he joined a group of young artists organizing independent art exhibitions in the Barbican and other places in the Old Town between 1963 and 1967. This group, along with Jan Naliwajko, was co-founded by Kazimierz Romuald Dąbrowski - Naldek, Jerzy Lassota, Barbara Szajewska, Zbigniew Kupczyński, Władysław Popielarczyk, Marek Kotliński - Rao, among others. Naliwajko has been living and working in Sweden since the 1960s. He works in painting, printmaking and sculpture. In his figurative art he combines fantastic, symbolic and erotic themes, giving his compositions a disturbing mood. He has exhibited in France, Switzerland and the USA, among other countries.
