Biography
Began studying sculpture under Wojciech Przedwojewski in his hometown of Stanislawow. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow until around 1926, and settled permanently in Poznan in 1926. He presented his works at exhibitions in Warsaw, Cracow and Katowice. He created figural sculptures and portraits, including those of Marshal Jozef Pilsudski and Maria Sklodowska-Curie. About his work he said: "I am a stylist, a classicist. I think it is necessary to return to classicism in art."
