Circle-shaped, tapering jug, of clear glass decorated with a slanting lattice motif, with a neck wrought in silver decorated with a relief ornament of acanthus leaves, flowers and cock's crests, with a channel-shaped blind reserve under the spout, with a hinged lid topped with a fancy bud; c-shaped, leafy ear on the side. Under the top edge an engraved inscription with the date "A.W d. 19 Aug.1897"
A special hallmark stamped on imported goods was introduced in the Russian Empire in 1882 (in force until 1898) and consisted of the sample, the city mark and the letters PT in Cyrillic lettering denoting "Privozhnyy Goods."
