Rectangular shaped stamp in white and green color. Inscriptions in Hebrew, denomination of 10. Dimensions: 3.9 x 3.1 cm.
Very good condition. Interwar Vilna was home to nearly 50,000 Jews, who constituted almost 1/3 of the total population. More than a hundred synagogues and houses of prayer were located in the city. There was a network of common schools and gymnasiums in which Yiddish was the language of instruction. 9080/7.
