Silver box sugar bowl in Biedermeier style made in Opole (Oppeln). A very rare item, Opole was a small center and is unique on the market.
Sugar bowl in the form of a rectangle on four legs. The upper part of the tin decorated with a silver stripe with grape leaves. Preserved original lock, no key. The lid gently fails to close.
Marked from the bottom with a round punch with the coat of arms of Opole - two-field coat of arms with half of the Piast eagle on the left and half of the cross on the right. Next to it the mark of an unknown workshop (?) in the form of a round punch with the letter L.
Height - about 9cm. Width - 13.5cm, Depth - 9.9cm.
Weight - 454.7 grams.
