Rectangular silver-plated Art Nouveau sugar bowl "Irys" made by the famous Warsaw company - Fraget from 1896-1915. Extremely valued legendary design "Irys", iconographic example of Polish Art Nouveau. Sugar bowl in rectangular form supported on four stylized legs and with hinged lid. The body of the sugar bowl decorated in a floral pattern with Iris flowers. On the underside the signature "Fraget N Plaque", Tsar's eagle (used until 1915), workshop mark, catalog number (2788) and series number. Preserved original silvering with visible rubbing. Cover springs back at times. Condition as shown in the photos. Height : Approximately 11cm. Width about 16cm. Depth about 9.5cm
