Wojciech Sudmak (Wieluń 1942, lives in Paris) - painter and sculptor. In 1956-1961 he studied at the High School of Fine Arts in Warsaw , and then studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. In September 1966, he left for Paris and began studying at the École des Beaux-Arts. He lives and works in France. He is considered a leading representative of fantasy realism. This trend, which combines surreal vision with naturalistic art, has its roots in Surrealism represented by S. Dali, R. Magritte and G. de Chirico, among others.
