The artist about the inspiration for the painting:
Do you know that feeling when a wish uttered to a shooting star or birthday candles suddenly comes true in the worst possible way? When a dream dreamed, anticipated, turned over in your mind for hundreds of nights suddenly turns into a nightmare? About this very feeling is "Rain". About a land thirsty for a drop of water, receiving a rain of fire. About disappointment and also about making your wishes carefully, because fate can be very perverse.
The artist says of her work:
"My paintings consist of emotions, they are a reflection of my life full of admiration for the beauty of nature, people, the world around us, but also downfalls, helplessness and dramatic events. I believe that everyone has some kind of super power, and I believe that mine is to share with others my energy, strength, admiration for the beauty of life and the world, which with their beauty invariably make me amazed, as well as my understanding in all the darkness and pain that sometimes accompanies us. I also create because my paintings are the only way I know of to pour out the vastness of the emotions and visions swirling inside me. It is the only vehicle for everything I have to convey. It is one of the most important things in my life."
