Natalia Fundowicz-Dziobek -graduate of thefaculty of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Diploma in the painting studio of Prof. Adam Brincken and the drawing studio of Dr. Rafał Borcz. In 2014-2016 she received the Rector's scholarship for the best students.
She says about herself: "In my works I use a rich resource of different techniques and modes of expression. In the paintings I present traces of my journey towards the affirmation of life - the affirmation of nature, femininity, body and motherhood. I set what I see on the planes with delicacy and lightness of intense, though watercolor colors, while trying not to take away from their movement. On canvases and walls I create maps of colorful signs and metaphorical forms placed as if in a state of weightlessness, which populate the space, escape from the paintings, escape, fall and blur in the air and on the ground. They don't like closed frames, as well as a closed mind. The form I think about and seek must be, a simulation of an inner experience, its synesthesia, which defines my intention, which then shapes it into a work of art. Also important to me is the creative process itself and its non-obviousness. Some decisions take hours, days, and sometimes mere seconds to make, making the final result dependent on a gesture, a momentary outburst. However, once a decision is made, it remains forever, cannot be repainted, washed away or corrected. This is what characterizes the water technique I use."
Since 2013 she has actively participated in many auctions and group exhibitions throughout Poland (Opole, Wroclaw, Katowice, Bydgoszcz, Krakow, Warsaw). She has also held 4 solo exhibitions, including two in London, where 2 newspaper articles/interviews about her work ("Dziennik Polski" and "Nowy Czas") and in Vienna.
