Acrylic on canvas, 81 cm x 65 cm
Konstantin Plotnikov calls his style Fantastic Romanticism. At the age of 16, the Belarusian-born young artist held his first solo exhibition, featuring amateur acrylic paintings on canvas. Already in these works it was possible to discern his authorial style. During his five years of study, Konstantin exhibited his works in various galleries in Grodno, Minsk. In the meantime, he also tried the art of writing, as he wrote his own science fiction short story "Through Time and Space," which he sold during his exhibitions. Later, in 2014, with the help of an amateur camera, he created his first science fiction film "THO-OG" with visual and mechanical special effects. After graduating from university, Konstantin Plotnikov went to Odessa to train as a film director. Two years later, his largest and most successful exhibition of fantasy paintings took place, organized at the "Mayak" Gallery in Brest. In 202 he emigrated to Poland and settled in Bialystok. In fact, he has always had ties with Poland, as he has his family here. After a year, he moved from the capital of Podlasie to Warsaw and is now permanently creating paintings in acrylic and oil techniques. Currently Konstantin Plotnikov exhibits his paintings in various galleries in Warsaw such as Desa, Agra-art, Pragaleria, Libra, Art In House, Sopot Auction House and others. His works are in private collections in Switzerland, Germany and, of course, in Poland and Belarus.
