She was born on August 21, 1973 in Katowice, Poland. She studied at the Faculty of Art Education of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, where she received her diploma in the studio of Prof. Piotr C. Kowalski in 2004. In 2003 she was on scholarship at the Faculty of Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana (Slovenia). She is also a graduate of the postgraduate course in video (2016) at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. She lives in Zywiec.
