Ivo Alvarone
Born in Italian Piedmont, in Moncalieri near Turin, Ivo moved with his family to Bologna at the age of five. Initially, at the urging of his father, a medievalist with a passion for art, he began studying art history. After a year, he felt too limited and disappointed and gave up. He traveled extensively in Europe, sketching landscapes, painting watercolors and enjoying a carefree life. Then, as promised to his father, Ivo resumed his studies. This time at the faculty of painting. Already during his studies he took a keen interest in the philosophy of transhumanism, which indirectly but very logically pushed him to be an active member of the pro-nature movement in his community.
He lives and works in a small studio, shying away from large exhibitions, preferring to confine himself to a private, small audience that follows his experiments with genuine interest.
