I was born in 1984. I am a philosopher by training, and so far the form of my creative activity has been writing (in 2019 I published a book entitled. "Non-stories", in addition to more than a dozen short stories in various literary magazines). Once, thanks to a dream that haunted me on one of the sultry, feverish nights - I dreamt that I was standing in front of a Bacon painting, and the vast plane of bright pink color covering much of it sucked me inside - a violent desire to paint was awakened in me, to which I have been constantly indulging ever since.
Painting is a game of intensity. A constant experiment in search of the most
stimulating form. It's about feeling more alive and bringing others to life. About Paintings,
That interact on some more basic, primal level of sensuality,
Images without a story, that don't want to say anything (I wish instead that they would burst into a silent
scream). They simply exist and radiate.
Painting is not a form of expression, I don't want to express anything, and certainly not myself.
Rather, it is an attempt to create something outside of myself, something that also has creative "power" - the
painting as a machine that produces impressions. The idea, then, is to "make an impression," more
in the literal rather than the colloquial sense. Impression, which is the experience of the very field of
of perception, by means of which one can "feel seeing".
It is the desire for images that invade us. They bypass the brain and attack directly
nervous system.
I started painting relatively recently. Once, thanks to a dream that haunted
me on one of the sultry, feverish nights - I dreamed that I was standing in front of a painting by
Bacon's painting, and a vast plane of bright pink covering much of it,
sucked me inward - a violent desire to paint was awakened in me, to which I have
I have indulged in ever since.
