About the artist: Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, painting in the studio of A. Zwierzchowski, interdisciplinary art in the studio of A. Dłużniewski. She is a member of ZPAP and art groups "Osobno" and "PositiveArt", Participant of many exhibitions, plein-airs including international ones. Works are in private collections and the HPRL Museum in Warsaw.
At the center of the artist's interests is the human being, the figure and physical portrait as well as the mental and spiritual side. The subject of the works is usually the human figure in terms between realism, symbolism, abstraction. The series of paintings " Yourney to the classics" is an expression of fascination with the magnificent European culture, which has survived for thousands of years and is the basis of our sense of harmony and beauty. The inspiration for the painting came from the Three Graces, the ancient goddesses, Aglaia /The Radiant One/, Euphrosine /The Cognizant One/ and Thalea /The Blossoming One/ from Sandro Botticelli's painting called The Foreboding (Primavera). Although the original title as well as the meaning of the painting remains undiscovered to this day.
