Graduate of the High School of Fine Arts in Cracow and the Faculty of Art at the Pedagogical University in Cracow. An educator, he has been teaching clothing design and clothing styling for nearly 29 years. His painting work is characterized by expression and richness of colors used, often in surprising combinations. Participant in many group exhibitions. Individual exhibitions: Zejście Gallery, Cracow 1990, Piwnica pod Baranami, Cracow 1991. Participant in pre-auction exhibitions of the Seed of Art - Garden of Hope Foundation ( National Museum in Warsaw and Center for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw) Artur Zienka's painting world is spread out in landscapes, extremely dynamic, because they take into account the physical properties of light, which is extracted, as in Rzepinski's work, from within the colors. But the artist, who is two generations younger, lays them thickly, and this abundance differentiates him from the old master. What they have in common, however, is an economical and subdued palette. And, finally, the circumstances in which both painters had to exhibit their paintings, an era of "transformation of the linear development of art [...] when the eternal arrangement of avant-garde - prevailing direction - (or, in the last century especially, directions) - tradition, spilled out into a spiral nebula of artistic currents and programmatically independent individuals shining with equal brilliance." It should be emphasized here that Zienko, like Rzepinski, found himself in a reality showing signs of chaos, he ended up there "with his art. Disciplined, based on fixed criteria, brilliantly executed. He entered with painting, not denying its aesthetic belonging and not ashamed of its decorative and decorative role.".... Finalist of the Fourth National Leon Wyczółkowski Painting Competition (2020) of the Leon Wyczółkowski Painting Competition (2020).
