Joanna Bruździńska - was born in 1967 in Boleslawiec, a city known for its unique ceramics and rich sculptural tradition.
Since childhood she was interested in art. She began her adventure with photography in the "Camera" Photographic Association. However, she began to deal with art for good when in 20011, she took part in a souvenir course. That's when she met Dariusz Milinski, and he invited her to an open air painting workshop. Since then she has devoted every free moment to creating.
Her greatest fascination is clay. As she says about herself, ceramics is an art that has captivated her and still surprises her. Ceramics combines all four elements, of which fire plays the biggest role - it ultimately decides what comes out of the kiln. These procedures of applying glazes, coloring with oxides, salts, discovering new possibilities, experimenting, gives a whole spectrum of possibilities for self-expression. Her sculptures are an infinite space of feelings, where she can push the boundaries of her imagination and travel deep into her own soul. She pursued her passion in ceramics at the International Ceramics Center in Boleslawiec in the studio of her artistic supervisor and mentor Mateusz Grobelny.
"Art is about bringing out what's in the soul and conveying it to the viewer. So you have to listen to your own inner self, think about what you want to convey and only grab a brush. I tried to implement my own methodology, and whether I succeeded in doing so, judge for yourself. This is just the beginning and gradual enrichment of the workshop. We will probably have to wait for the results. I hope that contact with viewers and their even critical comments will allow me to more easily overcome the set path. I encourage you to watch my works".
