Lime wood, now stained; height 34 cm, width 13.2 cm, depth 9 cm.
Central Europe, Lesser Poland?, 14th/15th century.
Wall sculpture, hollow back. Standing figure of the Virgin Mary in a folded robe and maforion on her head, supporting a seated Child on her right hand.
Western condition: both forearms of Jesus and Mary's left hand are missing. Numerous holes left by woodlice.
On the back in the hollow a faintly legible pencil inscription (20th century): "Heilige" (?).
