Zanetti Vetreria Artistica - a family-owned manufactory founded in 1956 in Venice by father and son, Oscar and Licio Zanetti. The work presented at auction is the work of Licio
(b. 1915), an artist whose inspiration came primarily from the flora and fauna of the Venetian lagoon. Among his most frequently depicted motifs are fish, birds, and horses. In 1989, the artist handed over the running of the company to his son Oscar, who continues the artistic tradition with his next generation son Andrea.
