Marta Klara Sadowska
No. 2, 2021
clay, resin, acrylic, 39 x 17 x 23 cm
Marta Klara is a multidisciplinary artist, a year-long resident of the Sarabande Foundation founded by Alexander Lee McQueen. A 2021 graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, she works in a wide variety of forms. Traditional sketches, costume design, but also spatial forms and those 3D. The moving image is her greatest passion and ambition. The artist explores the world of cultural anthropology and combines vanishing folk concepts, rituals or imagery with a post-internet view of reality, which in many aspects is extremely complicated, but also, created primarily by people, is governed by certain regularities that can be seen upon a deeper look. At the simplest level, in Marta Klara's works, the organic meets the cybernetic entity.
