Square base supported on 4 circular legs, passing to circular, stepped foot and short shaft, openwork basket formed of four curved, faceted bands finished with a composition of acanthus, palmettes and volutes, framed at the top by a rim edged with a profiled band with 12 hooks for spoons. On the sides, tall, sigmoid handles ending in volutes, decorated with acanthus, the lid arched, topped with a domed knob on a godron rosette; matched teaspoons spade-shaped on the rim, profiled, ending in a semicircle; the inlay made of crystal glass cut in a slanting checkered pattern is not original.
