Italian silver box with a view of Palazzo Madama - 20th century, mark of RENATO SALINBENI

of rectangular shape, the cover finely decorated with a perspective view of Palazzo Madama taken from the work 'Delle magnificenze di Roma antica e moderna' published between 1747 and 1761 by Giuseppe Vasi (1710-1782). The view includes as stated in the legend: 1) Palazzo Carpegna, 2) Dome of the Church of S. Luca in the College of Sapienza, 3) Palazzo Giustiniani, 4) Church of S.S. Salvatore. Sterling silver, hallmarked "925" and "* 391 FI", silversmith Renato Salinbeni. Original velvet case.
