First edition of a guide to Krakow published many times in the 19th century. Engravings - copperplate engravings with views, clothes, historical scenes drawn by M. Stachowicz, ryt. S. Langer. Graphics depict. Among others: Entry of Polish troops to Cracow on July 15, 1809; Seizure of Odwach Główny; Prospect of the city of Cracow; View of the Wieliczka slums (typeset engraving); and others, as well as twelve colored images of folk costumes of residents of the Cracow area (Krakowiaki, Kijaki from Podgórze, Proszowiaki, Skalmierzaki, Skawiniaki, Górale). Faded gilt and green signboard on spine, non. crack at spine, binding abrasions, pen notations on pastedown, traces of non. dampstain. Good condition. rare.
