Bronze, patinated casting; height 17 cm, base 6.2 x 6.2 cm.
Warsaw, Lopienski Brothers, 1920s-30s.
The figure of a street newspaper man - a boy wearing oversized top-boots and a long cape, with a hood covering his head. Under the lapel of the jacket he holds a bundle of newspapers - protecting them from the rain. Head slightly raised, mouth open, probably shouting the name of the newspaper being sold. On the wall of the square base - foundry signature: "BR. ŁOPIENSCY / WARSAW".
