Carrara marble sculpture, unique, dimensions: dimensions: 54 x 69 x 64 cm, 2020-2021
The sculpture "Romantic Signal" is another composition by Teresa Pastuszka Kowalska from a series of sculptures framed in geometric abstraction.
The forms interpenetrate each other and strain to evolve into a spherical tension representing the full shape of perfection to which a being in a romantic state is moving towards.
All the shapes are coherent with each other harmonizing and dynamizing the whole sculpture, as if inviting to go to the other side thanks to the openwork and gently inclined form in order to "turn" back around the circle.
The sculpture makes it possible to penetrate it in an individual way, according to the perception and sensitivity of the viewer.
The properties of the material marble with its delicacy of use and smoothness of surface with a very significant specific gravity and coolness of touch contribute to the tactile experience of this work.
The work is attractive from all sides due to the contrast in size of the individual forms.
