Sculptor, associated with the Silesian artistic community. He studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Vilnius University under T. Niesiolowski and in the sculpture studios of K. Yakimovich and H. Kuna. In 1938 he left for Lviv. In 1939 he was mobilized to the 14th regiment of Jazłowiec Ułans. After escaping from captivity in 1940, he returned to Lviv, where he designed sets and costumes for opera productions. After the war, he settled in Bytom. He is the author of 621 sculptural works - monumental sculptures in the city park, a monument to Moniuszko in front of the Bytom opera house , a bust of Chopin, a fountain at Academic Square, a monument to insurgents in Radzionków, numerous religious sculptures, elements of small city architecture, commemorative plaques. The artist's works are in the collections of the Silesian Museum in Katowice, the Upper Silesian Museum in Bytom, as well as in Switzerland, Kiev and Kharkov.
