Sculpture by Roland Kościółek made in glazed ceramic. The sculptor uses his skills and tools to give realism to the figure. The main subject of interest to the author is the human being and the nude. Through its three-dimensionality and physical presence, the sculpture of a human being evokes a sensual experience and creates a unique relationship between the work and the viewer.
Roland Kościółek was born in 1988 in Rzeszow, Poland. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (2019) and the Faculty of Interior Design at PWSW in Przemyśl (2013). His graduation sculpture as an honorable mention was exhibited at the Palace of Art on Szczepanski Square in Krakow, and was later purchased by the Westerplatte Museum in Gdansk, where we can still see it as part of the permanent exhibition. He currently lives and works in Krakow and Pcim. His works can be found in private collections in Poland and abroad.
