Italian reliquary, 18th century, with relics of Saint Anthony and Saint Francis.

The box is made in the form of a glass display case. Wooden frame, quite simple. Inside, on a soft fabric, was placed a figure of a monk holding a cross, made of wax. The silhouette is colored. On either side of him are two relics, secured with banderols with the names of saints. All decorated with sequins, filigree, semi-precious stones and mother-of-pearl. The wooden box measures 27.0 x 21.5 x 5.0 cm. The reliquary has no seals. Access to it is by pulling the glass through an opening in the top of the frame. This opening is secured by a special slat that slides in from the side.
