Impressive box reliquary of Saints Adaukt and Clement, 1st quarter of the 18th century.
Material: wood, fabric, wax, glass, filigree.
The reliquary consists of a base and an extension. The superstructure, in turn, is divided into two parts.
At the very top, in the central part, there is a capsule pinned with a safety pin. Below it are two intertwined hands. In the corners, meanwhile, four medallions made of black wax. All surrounded by intricate filigree decorations and precious stones. The main motif of the central part is an agnusek (wax medallion with convex imprint) with the Virgin Mary and Child, painted with gold paint. In the corners are other agnusek, commemorating Popes Innocent XII and Innocent XIII, and the apostles Saint John and Saint Bartholomew. The whole is complemented by rich decoration, analogous to the upper part. In the center of the base is an agnus, dedicated to Pope Pius VI.
In the vitrines on the left and right sides are the relics of Saints Adauct (Adauctis) and Clement (Clementis).
