Baroque (Rococo) reliquary in the form of a monstrance, with a relic - a fragment of the cross of Jesus Christ. Height 26 cm.
Diameter of the base 8.5 cm. Material: polychrome wood, fabric, filigree.
The box is made in the form of a showcase placed in the central part of the reliquary, surrounded by rococo decorations. The whole topped with a cross, placed on a round base . The display case is glazed. In it there is a fragment of the cross. The relic is placed on a cloth decorated with filigree.Under the relic is placed a banderole with the inscription "s.crucis".
The wood is polychromed in gold, carved.From under the small abrasions of the polychrome, the maroon underlay clay shows through.The reverse of the display case is closed with an oval sheet.The whole is secured with a wax seal, guaranteeing the originality of the object.
The height of the entire reliquary is 26 cm. The diameter of the base 8.5 cm.
