Relic of Saint Audomar in the form of a statue. 18th/19th century.
Polychrome wood. Height 26 cm.The statue depicts Saint Audomar, a bishop who lived in the 7th century.The bishop's dignity is indicated by, among other things, a book held in his hands and a pastoral.The sculpture is polychromed in gold. The bronze of the underlay clay shines through in places. The statue is 26 cm high, placed on a base measuring 10 x 5.5 cm. A relic, bearing a paper band with the saint's name, was placed in its front part. The pastoral is loosely set in the hand. On the base at the front is the inscription S. Omer. On the medallion hanging around the neck: S. Omer and the date 1810.Condition of preservation very good.
