Relic in the form of a statue of St. Paul with a relic of St. Victoria. 18th century.
Figure carved in wood, polychrome. Height 20 cm. Dimensions of the base 10 x 4 cm. Depicts the figure of Saint Paul. In his hands he holds attributes: a book and a sword. The book as a sign of all the apostles and teachers of the Church, and the sword - a symbol of his martyrdom in 67. Paul, as a Roman citizen, was not crucified, but as a patrician beheaded with a sword. In the lower part of the statue is a vitrine with the relic of St. Victoria. The vitrine is round and glazed. In its central part is placed a paper band with the saint's name handwritten on it. Under it is a relic. The whole is completed with filigree decoration, and precious stones. Access to the reliquary is from the back of the statue. Permanently sealed with paper. Very nice, decorative item. No damage.
