Piotr Pomianek, Venus II

In 1989, he graduated from the High School of Fine Arts in Rzeszow (specializing in metalwork). Then, from 1989 to 1990, he studied sculpture at the Faculty of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań, in the studio of Prof. Józef Petruk. From 1990-1994, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow at the Department of Sculpture. He made his diploma "Sarcophagus" under the direction of Prof. Stefan Borzęcki. He is involved in small sculptural forms, designing unusual jewelry, sacred sculpture and ceramics. His works can be found in churches (church of the Oo. Bernardine Church in Rzeszow, the Piarist Church in Rzeszow, the Church in Krasne-figures of the crucified Jesus) and in private collections. He is currently teaching as an art instructor in various cultural centers.
