Marta Wojtiuk
Born in Gdansk, Poland.
Studied at the Faculty of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdansk (now the Academy of Fine Arts).
She received her diploma in 1980 in the Sculpture Studio of Prof. Alfred Wisniewski.
She has won many awards, participated in collective events, and is the author of solo exhibitions.
Her works are in museum collections and private collections at home and abroad.
Maria Wojtiuk's works take us into a very personal world of fairy tales and fantasy, but without pigeonholing.
She realizes works in bronze, wood, terracotta and stone, masterfully combining materials.
