Magdalena Karlowicz
Born in 1978. Sculptor artist, co-organizer of cultural events, educator, curator of Piwniczka Gallery in Radzymin. Graduate of the W. Gerson State High School of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Faculty of Fine Arts - Department of Sculpture. She received her diploma with distinction in 2004 in the studio of Prof. Maciej Szańkowski. Author of several individual exhibitions and dozens of group exhibitions. Participant of plein-airs, festivals, symposia, auctions and art fairs. She has exhibited in galleries in Biala Podlaska, Czestochowa, Ciechnow, Lubaczow, Legionowo, Lodz, Radom, Radzymin, Ostroleka, Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski, Szczecin, Torun, Wolomin, Warsaw, Wegrow and Vienna, among others. He deals with sculpture in its broad sense: from intimate forms to monumental objects. She uses a variety of sculptural materials from clay and bronze, through resins to wax and sand. She is also close to other areas of art such as drawing and printmaking.
