Biography
José Cardona (1878 - 1923) - Spanish sculptor, born in Barcelona. He was associated with the Paris art community. He has been on the auction market since 1990, and the presence of this artist's works at 162 art auctions is evidence of the unflagging interest in his work, especially sculpture. The sculpture depicts a young boy - a poor street person - rolling a cigarette. His face seems to be focused and serene at the same time.
