elephant ivory (Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797 o Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758) depicting a dog in the act of protecting a child from a snake. Non-contemporary marble base.
Height x width x depth: 9.5 x 5.5 x 6 cm.
Marble base 11.4 x 7 cm. Weight with base 600 g.
Item condition grading: **** good.
Accompanied by Ce.S.Ar. Centro Studi Archeometrici certificate of authenticity and by CITES certificate.
