Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk at the Department of Sculpture, in the studio of Prof. Stanislaw Horno-Poplawski. She received her diploma in 1960. She participated in the post-war reconstruction of Gdansk, making sculptural works in stone. She participated in numerous sculpture plein-airs, nationwide and international, often serving as artistic commissioner. She was the initiator and organizer of open-air sculpture in granite in Wdzydze Kiszewskie.
She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Gloria Artis medal awarded for outstanding achievements for culture by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
The sculptor has worked in many forms and materials. Her sculptures - outdoor and intimate - were created in granite, marble, wood, as well as metal and ceramics.
