Graduated from the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, where he received a doctorate in art. He defended his diploma in 2000 in Prof. Marian Konieczny's studio. He works as an assistant professor in the Drawing Studio and as an associate dean of the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Among other awards, he was awarded a scholarship from the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, where he worked under Tim Scott. He is also a recipient of a scholarship from the Polish Minister of Culture. He was awarded the Grand Prix of the 10th Triennale of Polish Contemporary Drawing.
