Krzysztof Renes
Sculptor associated with Warsaw, Poland. Creator of sculptural cycles Universals, Penetrations of Space, Horizons of Events. Popularizer of science and art. He is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Faculty of Sculpture (2015) and Sociology at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University (2009).
He belongs to the third generation of a family of sculptors and artisans creating in metal. He was awarded the first prize in the Art in Architecture festival in the Home category for his sculptures Venus, Balletmaster and Penetrator (2022), the Future Now - 100 most interesting contemporary artists list according to the Aesthetica Art Prize for his Universale series (2016), and the International Sports and Art Competition for his sculpture Cyclist (2012). Originator and organizer of the academic project Boundaries of Sculpture (2012) and co-creator of the Perseidalia science and art festival (2013). Creator of the set design for the ballet at the Grand Theater as part of the Creations 15 series (2023). Author of the Researcher sculpture in the space of the ORLEN Research and Development Center (Plock, 2019). He works with the business and sports market, creating trophies and statues for elite events. He is the author of, among others, the award in the Imagine Sobie film environment competition funded by the Starak Family Foundation (2022), the President's Cup trophy prepared for the IHF Handball World Cup (2023), the EAFF Champions League Cup in Amp-Futbol (2019), the European Forum for New Ideas award for Lech Walesa (2013), the statue for the king of scorers of the SA Ekstraklasa (from 2019) or the Polish Women's Cup of the Polish Football Association (PZPN) (2022). He has participated in numerous trade fair exhibitions and art shows at home and abroad.
