Boguslaw Zen
Born in Wroclaw in 1963. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw at the Faculty of Sculpture, where he received his diploma in 1997. During his studies he also did a course in historic preservation. Since graduation, he has been professionally engaged in sculpture in stone, wood, bronze, sculpture installation, he also creates small sculptural forms of medals.
Since 2003 he also deals with sculpture in perishable materials, sculpture of short duration, i.e. he sculpts in ice, snow and sand.
One of his favorite arts is drawing. He lives and creates in Wroclaw.
MAJOR SCULPTURAL REALIZATIONS:
-POLONIA sculpture, Wądroże Wielkie
-The Christ monument in Polkowice( 3.3m high stone
sandstone)
-Monument to John Paul II in Milicz (3.4m high bronze)
-Side altar in the Church of the Fathers of St. John of God in Wroclaw
(conservation)
-The main altar in the Seminary in Wroclaw
(stone sandstone)
-The sculpture of a knight on top of the palace in Kwietno, Lower
Silesia and conservation of the historic ceilings in the same
palace
-1996 Medal for Cuprum Bank, second prize in the competition realization
