Underneath the base of the sculpture, the artist's handwritten signature and the number of the work ("SETTA 100/31") and the signature of the artist's atelier ("SETTART© / A. Szczepaniec "Setta"/ NEW YORK"). On the front of the base a gold-colored inscription "F. Chopin." On the back of the bust the signature of the artist's atelier ("SETTART© / A. Szczepaniec "Setta"). Very good condition.

Andrzej Szczepaniec "Setta" was born in 1964 in Cracow and graduated from the High School of Fine Arts and the Academy of Fine Arts there. In1989, he moved to New York, where he initially worked for a company restoring antiques, and later on commissions for New York and international companies and private individuals, making, among other things, sculptures and portraits of well-known figures from the world of entertainment, sports and politics (he made, among others. portraits-sculptures of Reagan and Gorbachev, intended for the Reagan library), made set design elements for plays staged on Broadway and for films shot in New York, as well as designs for silverware (for Tiffany&Co, among others), as well as interior design elements and models for architectural projects. In 2004, he received an award at the Big Apple Festival for his Apple Spiderman design - the sculpture stood in Times Square, where it was extremely popular.
The artist has exhibited his works in Europe and the United States; his sculptures are in private and public collections around the world, and adorn public places, including Poland and the US.
